The specific preparation process of reaction sintered silicon carbide for casting mainly includes steps such as raw material preparation, molding, drying, and sintering.

 

The specific operation process is as follows:

(1) Raw material preparation for the reaction bonded silicon carbide ceamics: the raw material mainly composed of high-quality SiC particles, processed through screening, grinding, etc., mixed in a certain proportion, and added with an appropriate amount of binder and rheological agent to make a uniform slurry.

 

(2) Molding of RBSIC ceramics: The mud of reaction bonded silicon carbide ceamics is formed by printing, injection, pressing, and other methods, with a molding pressure of generally 100-200Pa. After molding, the surface has a certain roughness.

(3) Drying of silicon carbide product: The formed ceramic products are dried, usually using methods such as air drying, vacuum drying, and hydrothermal treatment to accelerate the drying speed.

(4) Sintering of RBSIC wear-resistant: Place the dried ceramic products in a high-temperature furnace for sintering, with a temperature generally between 1900 and 2200 ℃ and a sintering time typically of 1-3 hours, to obtain reaction sintered silicon carbide ceramic products with high strength and good wear resistance.
